Titans is a superhero action-adventure drama series starring Brenton Thwaites, Anna Diop, Teagan Croft, Ryan Potter, Joshua Orpin, Jay Lycurgo, Franka Potente, and Joseph Morgan.
Based on the DC Comics characters, the superhero drama revolves around the core team of Nightwing aka Dick Grayson (Thwaites); Rachel Roth aka Raven (Croft); Koriand'r aka Starfire (Diop); and Garfield Logan aka Beast Boy (Potter).
Together, these heroes form the Titans and fight a powerful foe while eventually working as a surrogate family. In season four, the team members find themselves in the crosshairs of a supernatural cult with powers they've never seen before.
The series Titans (2018) premiered on the DC Universe subscription service in October 2018 and ran for two seasons. The series was renewed for a third season, but was moved to HBO Max. It was renewed for a fourth season in October 2021.
The current fourth season consists of twelve episodes split into two parts. The first six episodes ended on December 1. The second half-dozen episodes will be released sometime this year.
The Doom Patrol series has also been canceled, with final episodes of the fourth season yet to be scheduled.

Director James Gunn, co-chairman and co-CEO of DC Studios since November 1, noted that the decision to cancel the DC series was made before his tenure. He added, "I certainly wish the best for the talented group of creators, actors and the rest of the crew who have produced both series."
