There's going to be a second season of Emily in Paris. Last month, the ten-part first season premiered on Netflix. The streaming service has now decided to renew the series. When this new season is set to release, is not yet known. Emily in Paris revolves around Emily (Lily Collins, Les Misérables (2018)), who unexpectedly moves to Paris for a job. As she adapts to the new culture and challenges, she has to find the right balance between her career, new friendships and her love life.
In 2018, Paramount Network ordered the series, with the idea of broadcasting it on a women-themed dramedy evening, but this never happened. Earlier this year, Netflix acquired the rights to Emily in Paris, which resulted in it premiering on the 2nd of October.
