Netflix reveals start date and first look at Emily in Paris season five

After Paris (and the excursion to Rome in season four), season five takes place partly in both Rome and Venice.

Emily Cooper (played by Lily Collins) is now the head of Agence Grateau Rome and is trying to balance her career and love life. According to Netflix, Emily seems to have finally found stability, but a failed job pitch causes chaos, heartbreak, and professional setbacks.

As Emily struggles to find a foothold in her French lifestyle, a profound secret comes to light, testing one of her close relationships. By dealing honestly with conflict, Emily discovers deeper connections, renewed clarity, and new possibilities.

The regular cast includes Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu, Ashley Park, Lucas Bravo, Samuel Arnold, Bruno Gouery, William Abadie, Lucien Laviscount, Eugenio Franceschini, Thalia Besson, Paul Forman, and Arnaud Binard.

New characters are also introduced, including Princess Jane (played by Minnie Driver), Jake (played by Bryan Greenberg), and Yvette (played by Michèle Laroque).

The series is being recreated, written, and executive produced by Darren Star, with Lily Collins starring and producing.

Emily in Paris returns on Thursday, December 18th with season five, which will once again consist of ten episodes and will be available in its entirety at once.
