From Emily in Paris to Emily in Netflix

Emily in Paris, featuring Lily Collins, will move to Netflix. The American dramedy was originally made for Paramount, but will now move to the streaming service instead.

In Emily in Paris, driven teenager Emily (Lily Collins, Les Misérables (2018)) unexpectedly moves to Paris for a job. She is tasked with bringing an American point of view to an honourable French marketing company. As she adjusts to the new culture and faces new challenges, she has to juggle between her career, new friends and love life.

Emily moves to Paris, the series will move to Netflix. It was originally ordered by Paramount back in 2018, with the idea to broadcast this one a planned dramedy evening with a female theme on the network, but this never happened. Upcoming fall, Emily in Paris will appear on Netflix exclusively. A specific date has not yet been revealed.

Lily Collins in Emily In Paris

The first ten-part season of Emily in Paris was fully produced before the coronavirus emerged. As a result of that, the series became even more interesting for streaming services. Darren Star (Sex and the City) conceived and wrote Emily in Paris and also serves as executive producer of the series.
