Expeditie Robinson
Expeditie Robinson is een Nederlands/Belgisch realityprogramma van de zender RTL 5 en VT4. De serie ging in première op 1 oktober 2000.
Gedurende een periode van 30-40 tot 50 dagen strijden deelnemers op een aantal onbewoonde eilanden om de Robinsontitel. In eerste instantie worden twee groepen gevormd (in het begin willekeurig, maar in latere seizoenen ook naar geslacht, nationaliteit, of leeftijd). Deze twee groepen wonen op twee verschillende eilanden en om de twee dagen spelen ze tegen elkaar in een proef; afwisselend een Robinsonproef en een Eliminatieproef.
In de Robinsonproeven kan het winnende team iets winnen om de expeditie aangenamer te maken, zoals voedsel, hulp van buitenaf (zoals tips over vruchten en fruit op het eiland), contact met het thuisfront of zelfs verzorgde dagtripjes (zoals een dagje op een jacht of een overnachting in een hut op een echt bed). Soms worden er ook veilingen gehouden. Je wint wat geld, waarmee je dan later je hamburger, frites of chocolade mee kunt kopen. In de Eliminatieproeven wordt bepaald welk team (het verliezende team van de proef) naar de Eilandraad moet gaan. Tijdens de Eilandraad wordt door middel van stemmen bepaald welke deelnemer van het team het spel moet verlaten. Ieder teamlid krijgt één stem.
