
The trailer, unveiled at Gamescom, features a striking flashback showing how the devastating nuclear war began. It also introduces a new character: Robert House, played by Justin Theroux. Fans also get their first glimpse of one of the most feared creatures in the Fallout universe: the Deathclaw.
The series stars Ella Purnell, Aaron Moten, Walton Goggins, and Kyle MacLachlan, who survive in a retro-futuristic, post-apocalyptic America.
The first season, based on the popular video game franchise, was a resounding success and is among the top three most-watched original titles on Prime Video.
The new season builds on the conclusion of season one, in which villain Hank MacLean (played by MacLachlan) escaped during the battle between the Brotherhood of Steel and the New California Republic raiders of Moldaver. Meanwhile, Lucy (Purnell) and The Ghoul (Goggins) forge a shaky alliance as they set course for New Vegas, an iconic location from the video game series.
