The Ghoul reveals that he has been wandering the wasteland for 200 years and has had only one reason to keep living: to find his own family. A menacing voice-over responds with the message that he "will need friends because a war is coming."
Fallout is based on the popular video game by Bethesda Game Studios and is set 200 years after a nuclear apocalypse. The inhabitants of luxurious vaults must return to the dangerous, strange, and violent surface that their ancestors left behind. Season two picks up after the explosive finale of the first season and takes viewers to the Mojave Desert and the iconic, post-apocalyptic New Vegas.
In addition to Purnell and Goggins, the cast also includes Aaron Moten, Kyle MacLachlan, Moises Arias, and Frances Turner.
Season two of Fallout premieres on Wednesday, December 17, on Prime Video, with a new episode releasing every Wednesday until February 4, 2026.
