Second season of Fallout appears earlier than expected

The second season of the apocalyptic Prime Video series Fallout will be released slightly earlier than planned.
Amazon has announced that the new season of Fallout will now premiere on Tuesday, December 16 at 6:00 PM (American time), a day earlier than previously communicated. The season will again consist of eight episodes, which will be released weekly after the first episode, with the season finale on February 4.

The news of the rescheduled release was announced in a spectacular way via the Sphere in Las Vegas, which is no coincidence: part of season two takes place in the post-apocalyptic New Vegas, an iconic location from the Fallout game world.

The series, based on the popular video games by Bethesda Game Studios, is set 200 years after the nuclear apocalypse. The residents of luxurious underground shelters are forced to return to the radioactive surface their ancestors once fled. There, they discover a world that is not only extremely violent but also surprisingly complex, absurd, and darkly humorous.

The main roles are played by Ella Purnell, Aaron Moten, Walton Goggins, Kyle MacLachlan, Moises Arias, and Frances Turner.

Earlier this year, Fallout was a major success at the Emmy Awards, where the series received 16 nominations and ultimately won one Emmy for music supervision. Thanks to that success, the series has already been renewed for a third season, even before the start of the second season.
