Family Guy is getting two more holiday specials on Hulu

During San Diego Comic-Con, Hulu announced that Family Guy will be getting two exclusive specials on the streaming service this year.
The first special is a Halloween episode titled "A Little Fright Music," which airs on Monday, October 6th. The second special is still unknown. Both specials are part of Hulu's holiday programming.

In the Halloween special, Brian and Stewie notice a dire shortage of good Halloween songs, so they decide to write their own. Meanwhile, Peter and his friends discover that lying about trick-or-treating can have deadly consequences.

The announcement follows previous specials from last year, which aired on October 24th and November 25th, and is part of a major "meganimation" deal between Fox, Disney's 20th Television Animation, and Hulu.

The Seth MacFarlane-created animated series American Dad! is also returning to Fox after a ten-year run on TBS. The network has also renewed The Simpsons and Bob's Burgers for four additional seasons.

All four series are produced by 20th Television Animation.

MacFarlane is executive producer of Family Guy, along with showrunners Rich Appel and Alec Sulkin, and with Steve Callaghan, Tom Devanney, Danny Smith, Kara Vallow, Mark Hentemann, Patrick Meighan, and Alex Carter.
