'Fargo' on Netflix from April

FX’s latest series, ‘Fargo’, will soon be available on Netflix. The streaming service made a deal with FX and Dutch members will be able to see the episodes of the first season one day after they’ve aired in America.

Netflix previously struck similar deals with AMC and El Rey Network. ‘Better Call Saul’ and ‘From Dusk Till Dawn: The Series’ will also be available to Dutch members thanks to similar deals. Netflix has made a similar deal with ‘The CW’ for her Canadian members. Canadian members will be able to see the show one day after it has aired in America.

This adaptation of ‘Fargo’ is an original adaptation of the film with the same name. Many consider the film a classic and its main star Frances McDormand received an Oscar for her part.

In this version, Oscar-winner Billy Bob Thornton plays the lead Lorne Malvo, a cunning and manipulating man who will change the life of provincial insurance agent Lester Nygaard, played by Martin Freeman, once and for all.

Besides Freeman and Thornton, ‘Fargo’ will also star Colin Hanks, Oliver Platt, Kate Walsh, Adam Goldberg and Bob Odenkirk. The first of ten episodes will be available in the Netherlands on Netflix on the 16th of April.
