Former Chicago Med actor Colin Donnell has been cast in a guest role in the final two episodes of the third season of FBI: International. Donnell's character is not yet revealed, but his introduction to the series follows the departure of original cast member Luke Kleintank. As announced last week, Kleintank's final episode as Scott Forrester, head of the FBI flight team, will air on Tuesday, May 7.
Donnell (pictured) will appear in the penultimate episode on Tuesday, May 14 and the season finale on May 21. In addition, Teri Polo will also appear in the final two episodes.
Kleintank was cast in July 2021 as one of the leads in FBI: International, the third series in Dick Wolf's FBI drama franchise. The drama follows the elite operatives of the Federal Bureau of Investigation's International Fly Team, which is headquartered in Budapest.
CBS renewed the entire FBI franchise earlier this month with additional seasons: FBI: International for season four, FBI: Most Wanted for season six and FBI for three more seasons through 2027.
Dick Wolf, Matt Olmstead, Michael Katleman, Ernesto Alcalde, Arthur W. Forney and Peter Jankowski are the executive producers of FBI: International. The series is produced by Wolf Entertainment and Universal Television, a division of Universal Studio Group, in association with CBS Studios.
Donnell played Connor Rhodes on Chicago Med for four seasons before retiring in 2019. He also had a series regular role on the first season of the CW superhero series Arrow and a recurring role on Showtime's The Affair.
