Peacock shares premiere date, first photos and teaser trailer for limited series Fight Night

Fight Night: The Million Dollar Heist has released its first teaser trailer. In addition, Peacock has released a premiere date and a first look at the series.Fight Night: The Million Dollar Heist, based on the iHeart true-crime podcast of the same name, follows the infamous story of how an armed robbery on the night of Muhammad Ali's (Dexter Darden) historic comeback fight in 1970 not only took the life of one man changed, but eventually Atlanta also turned into the 'Black Mecca'.



When a hustler named Chicken Man (Kevin Hart, pictured) hosts an after-party to celebrate the fight with a guest list of the country's richest, the evening ends with the most brazen criminal underworld heist in Atlanta history.

Suspected of masterminding the crime, Chicken Man is determined to clear his name, but must confront his old adversary J.D. Hudson (Don Cheadle), one of the first black detectives in the city's segregated police force, who must bring those responsible to justice.

Other main characters are Samuel L. Jackson (Frank Moten), Taraji P. Henson (Vivan Thomas) and Terrence Howard (Cadillac Richie). Guest stars include Chloe Bailey (Lena Mosley), Marsha Stephanie Blake (Delores Hudson), Lori Harvey (Lola Falana) and Sinqua Walls (McKinley Rogers).

Peacock has set Thursday, September 5 for the premiere.
