Trailer for final episodes of Firefly Lane

The Season 2B trailer begins with a look at Tully's stay in Antarctica and ends with Tully and Kate's big reunion. The final episodes of the series, which will be released on Thursday, April 27, also fill in some gaps in earlier time periods, including Kate's relationship with her British boyfriend Theo, who proposes to her in the trailer, and Johnny's first marriage to Kate (and possibly also his first proposal). It also offers some 'revealing' Tully-Danny updates.



"Why did it take so long?" asks Kate when Tully comes to see her at her house.

The two lifelong friends were estranged for a while after Kate (Sarah Chalke) cut ties following the car accident Tully (Katherine Heigl) got into with Kate and Johnny's daughter Darah in the car. Kate changed her mind in the season two finale. After being diagnosed with cancer, she knocked on Tully's door, but missed her by a minute when Tully, devastated at the end of their friendship, left to film a documentary in Antarctica.

Firefly Lane, which is ending with the current second season, was created by Maggie Friedman from Kristin Hannah's book. Friedman serves as executive producer and showrunner. Heigl and Shawn Williamson also produce alongside Michael Spiller and Stephanie Germain.
