Foundation - which features Jared Harris and Lee Pace in the lead - is based on the Isaac Asimov trilogy and tells the epic story of The Foundation, a group of exiles who find out that the only way to save the Galactic Empire from its demise, is by defying it. The series comes from showrunner and executive producer Goyer and Skydance Television.
The renewal came before the release of the season finale, which is scheduled for the 19th of November. A new episode is released on Apple TV+ each week.
