Frakke & Jempie - Season 1
Frakke & Jempie open a garage together. Anyone who knows the duo of De Zonen Van Van As knows that laughter is blown.De Zonen Van Van As has been one of the highlights in the Flemish comedy landscape in recent years. The series about the cheating construction company Van As got no less than five seasons and last year a film was added.
Two notable figures in that series were Frakke and Jempie. Two employees of Firma Van As, who, just like their bosses, pulled out all the stops to hide the cheating. The two have now received their own series of eight episodes and the chance that it will not stop at these eight episodes seems almost logical to me after watching this first season.
Of course, you can't expect that two thoroughbred actors such as Carry Goossens (Frakke) and Peter Van den Eede (Jempie) will completely take over this series with their witticisms, their quarrels and above all their friendship.

In this series, the two have left the Van As company behind and are focusing on automotive technology. A garage is purchased and work can begin. Although it soon becomes clear that the gentlemen have bought an absolute flop. One setback follows another, but somehow the duo manages to survive time and time again and to bend the situation to their will.
In total, the eight episodes only provide 90 minutes of watching time. Ideal to binge-watch them if you want to laugh for an hour and a half at the antics of this duo.

About the writer, Karzal

Mike (1995) has been a member of MySeries since 2016 and is mainly active on the English version of the site. Since 2018, he has been actively translating news articles, columns, reviews and basically everything that ends up on the Dutch site. The original articles, columns and reviews were actually written by others. During the week Mike can be found at IKEA, where he is a national systems specialist and occasionally also in the classroom to teach an English lesson. In addition, Mike logically enjoys watching series and has actually been spoon-fed this from an early age. The genre doesn't matter, there is a place for everything in the otherwise busy life.
