Second season for ‘From Dusk Till Dawn: The Series’

Today it was announced that, after only three episodes, ‘From Dusk Till Dawn: The Series’ has already been renewed for a second season with thirteen episodes. The series, based on Quentin Tarantino’s cult film from 1996, is aired on El Rey, a channel of the series’ producer Robert Rodriquez ('Sin City', 'Machete Kills').

From Dusk Till Dawn: The Series’ is about Seth Gecko (D.J. Cotrona, ‘Detroit 1-8-7’) and his violent and unpredictable brother Richard “Richi” Gecko (Zane Holtz, ‘Make It or Break It’), who are wanted by the FBI and the Texas Rangers (the Texan police force), led by Earl McGraw (Don Johnson, ‘Django Unchained’). The brothers robbed a bank and there were several casualties during the robbery. Once they’re near the border of the USA and Mexico, they take Jacob Fuller (Robert Patrick, ‘True Blood’) and his family hostage, after which drug lord Don Carlos (Wilmer Valderrama, ‘Raising Hope’) leads them on a detour to a strip club filled with vampires…

The show has been available on Netflix for two weeks.
