Game of Thrones is een HBO-serie gebaseerd op de fantasyboeken 'Een Lied van IJs en Vuur' van George R. R. Martin. Het gaat over een machtsstrijd om de ijzeren troon tussen zeven verschillende adellijke families op het fictieve continent Westeros. Robert Baratheon is koning van Westeros, maar al snel ontdekt hij dat zijn troon zeer gewild is onder de adellijke families. Om het allemaal nog erger te maken staat er in het Noorden een oud kwaad op, klaar om het verscheurde Westeros binnen te vallen.

last episode. what a series there are few that make me sit on the edge of my seat. just can't imagine anyone thinking this is a bad series. each with their own opinion and taste of course. but I feel this is the best series that exists at a lonely height that no series can come close to. is a good prospect for the future because when the last season starts next year they will probably already start thinking about what they want to work on in the future because records must be broken. and if they want to beat got they have to develop a very good series.

Don't get your hopes up. It is true that there are several spin-offs candidates, but there will most likely only be one spin-off that will actually be ordered as a series. I sincerely hope that the spin-off is about the history of the Targaryens. Can they nicely follow the first part of the new book called 'Fire and Blood' by George RR Martin that will be released early next year. Should be fine.

In the beginning it just seemed like a kind of Lord of the Rings on steroids, halfway through season 1 it quickly became clear that Game of Thrones is drawing from a completely different vein. Rawer (leave that to HBO), in your facerer, more depth (sometimes almost inimitable) and in the possession of our own Carice van Houten.??Even if the genre doesn't appeal to you, I recommend that you go through the first Bite through 2 seasons just so you understand that Game of Thrones' S03E09 might be the best episode of a series ever. Perhaps. Probably. For sure. ?

Hello gumstar, as a late entry into GOT I only now see your reaction to this now much-lauded fantasy series. I am halfway through series 2 and so far I find it intriguing how the various families approach each other. Beautifully made indeed, and fantastic in terms of decoration. But unfortunately I have not yet been able to discover a lot of depth. The only character I have placed my hopes on for that matter is that of Tyrion Lannister. But all kidding aside ... this is too thin to be compared with Lord of the Rings.

Just LOTR? I did a pging before to watch 8 episodes of GOT .. but it does not come close to LOTR .. that remains for me the best film series I have ever seen !!! GOT is TOO raw for me .. and animal unfriendly .. and that bothers me a lot. Anyway .. will definitely try again .. but I fear it!

I think GoT is one of the best series ever made. It's a bit complicated to get into, because I needed all season 1 to get into the story well (or rather several storylines) but once you're in the series, it looks super nice. Can't wait for April 2015!

if you want to sit still at the moment and relax and watch TV, I do not recommend watching this episode. I sat down and put the series on and start watching nothing wrong quietly beautiful constructive and great story with what I find depth. you are really in it and you sit down and you just feel the tension build up, you get warm and even start to sweat and then that fight starts that you actually had no suspicions about. a fight that you say wow, that edge of my chair had a hard time the silence I couldn't keep up seemed like I was watching the game of the year, with oooooww and oooh compassionate in the story and then the fight ends too really with a deep sigh, just as if you had a huge intensive free match, your heart comes to rest and the episode is over and the adrenaline is slowly diminishing. what a beautiful series really these 10 will not go away what a series what a story what a tension. I just have to shower with sweat. don't know any other word maybe you find me strange but am curious how you experienced this episode. Best regards. Alex
