On April Fools day they told us Peter Dinklage would quit Game of Thrones. They didn't fool me, along with a lot of other Game of Thrones fans. But today, they make up for their joke by announcing a fourth season.
If it weren't for a cable network's choices, Game of Thrones could at least shoot eight or nine seasons, but it always depends on what the cable network chooses to do with a show. But it shouldn't come as a surprise the incredible popular Game of Thrones will be back next year.
HBO didn’t specify the number of episodes, but every indication is that the show will continue with its 10-episode format. The news comes after Game of Thrones returned with its third season last Sunday night and broke their ratings record (4.4 million viewers).
