Gangs of London premiered on Sky Atlantic last April. The first season will release on AMC during upcoming fall. The networks have now given the green light for a second season for the crime series.
The series takes place in modern-day London, where a power struggle between international gangs is ongoing. When the head of the most powerful crime family in London is murdered, the fragile peace between the gangs is starting to dissipate.

The series is supposedly the best Sky Atlantic original in the past five years. Even though the first season was produced for Sky Studios by Pulse Films and SISTER, AMC has stepped in to produce the second season.
