Carly is outraged when A.J. announces plans to have Michael re-christened with a new name and new godparents. Sitting in the midst of the wreckage of his penthouse, Sonny muses over past mistakes which have come back to haunt him. After Carly puts her foot down, A.J. reluctantly agrees to allow Michael to keep his first name but insists on setting the record straight about the boy's correct last name. Nikolas sheepishly admits to his mother that she was right all along about Katherine. Afterwards, Laura tells Nikolas how she overheard Katherine blaming Helena for the break-up.
