Waving the letter she stumbled across, Gertrude reads aloud the passionate words and accuses Ned of carrying on an affair with Mrs. Jax. With some timely assistance from Alexis, Ned manages to squirm out of trouble by claiming that the missing second page of his letter was a farewell note to the woman who helped him find his way to his true love---Chloe.
