Preview:Sonny came home in time for Christmas. Recap:Laura made sure that Gia understood that she was only being considered for a test shoot, that she wasn't guaranteed the job. Gia told Laura that she understood it was only a test, she just wanted a chance. She later confessed to Nikolas that she didn't think she had a chance. Nikolas felt badly when he didn't invite Gia to the surprise birthday party they were having for Laura. Scott brought by contracts that he and Laura needed to go over because Deception was in jeopardy. It turned out the contracts were just a ruse. He wanted to give Laura a birthday present which was a placard proclaiming her president and CEO.
