After three episodes, I kind of get the feeling that the writers have failed. I still hope for a fantastic final, but fear it. The episodes from the original series were more charming. Still, it felt nice to be able to see the Gilmore Girls one more time :-).

It took a while to see all 4 episodes in a row in 6 hours. It was fun, a feast of recognition. Sometimes moving, but also a long-winded piece in every episode. I will not reveal anything but I think that, despite the cliffhanger, it is good that there is no sequel! When I look back on these episodes now, it is a bit with mixed feelings. It was fun and it is!

I also watched all 4 episodes in a row and there was not one moment where I was bored. Bring on even more seasons. I can't get enough of this!

Just watched the last episode. Didn't look at everything at once because I wanted it to last as long as possible .. (four more days: P) I thought it was very good. It was as if they hadn't left. Everyone has been seen, some a little longer than the other, but it was great to see everyone again. The cliffhanger was a bit of a shame I personally think. Either they should have indicated in advance that they would continue or they should have left it at the wedding. There were very nice moments but also emotional moments (tissues were needed here). The two minus points was of course the cliffhanger .. I really don't like such an open ending. Second minus point was that Jess was left alone. Secretly expected him to end up with Rory. Even though I was also a big fan of Logan! I am very curious if there will be a sequel or if they are going to make a spin-off or something. I keep my fingers crossed and wait in suspense!

Apparently I had too great expectations. It is understandable that after 9 years the experience can be a bit different. I think it's a big plus that so many characters have returned. Some have really changed, others have not at all. The humor has remained, but it actually was. Lauren Graham's appearance bothered me (like she stepped out of the Christmas movie The Grinch, sorry) and the acting was really a bit less than it used to be. The cozy village feeling had disappeared, partly due to new camera work, it felt much more "staged" than real. And let me not get started about the end. I'm guessing I had hoped for something too much and it didn't happen. Big pluses are Emily Gilmore and Michel, both have not changed anything in terms of acting, great. The rest felt a bit too forced. Unfortunately! But still glad that I really enjoyed the old seasons, what a pleasure that was!
