In light of recent events, we announced earlier this week that Cory Monteith’s passing away might potentially delay the fifth season up until November. But fret not, the new official premiere date has been set and has only been moved one week up. The new season will air on the 26th of September. On their facebook page, they announce that ‘the series’ executive producers, 20th Century Fox Television, and Fox Broadcasting Company have jointly decided to delay the start of production of GLEE until early August’.
Most fans already responded well to the news of the possible postponement till November, so I don’t have any worries that people will lie awake at night for the extention of our wait with merely one extra week. During our wait, let us all keep Cory Monteith’s spirit in honour.
