We have an update on the developments in the ‘Glee’ world. Ryan Murphy revealed Cory Monteith’s character will be killed off in ‘Glee’. After Monteith’s death in July, many fans wondered how this would be solved in the series itself.
The production of the show started earlier than previously announced for Murphy claims it would help in the grieving process. All cast and crew members agreed on this. The series will start, as previously planned, with two episodes centred around The Beatles which will be followed by a tribute episode in which the characters will have to deal with Monteith’s, or in this case Finn’s, death. After wrapping up productions for those three episodes, the entire ‘Glee’ team will take a long break to re-evaluate the storylines already written and to see how they can create new storylines without Monteith’s character. It is unsure when the crew will start production again afterwards but luckily it is not a question whether they’ll resume production. Even before Monteith’s death, FOX already order two more seasons of the popular singing series.
The fifth season will premiere on the 26th of September with the first three episodes and the cast will be joined by Adam Lambert.
