Godfather of Harlem

Godfather of Harlem is an American crime series which aired on EPIX. The series premiered on 29 september 2019.

In the early 1960s, infamous crime boss Bumpy Johnson, is on parole after a 10 year stint in prison and returns to Harlem to find the city he once ruled in chaos. With the streets controlled by the Genovese crime family, Bumpy must regain control via an alliance with radical preacher Malcolm X and during a social upheaval the likes of which the city has never seen before.
