Production on the fifth and latest season of This Is Us started last week. This new season was originally supposed to start its run at NBC on the 10th of November, but the network has decided to move the premiere date ahead. The fifth season is now scheduled to start at NBC on the 27th of October, starting with a two-hour-long premiere.
The first season of the American drama series premiered back in 2016. Since then, four seasons of This Is Us have aired on NBC, which renewed the series with three more seasons last year. This Is Us was created by Dan Fogelman (The Neighbors) and revolves around the Pearson family, from which the father passed away. The series follows the family in three different time periods; before, during and after the father's death.
