On the 17th of October, the new season of Hightown will premiere on Starz. The first episode will be made available in the US and Canada. A day later, the episode will also air on StarzPlay, which means viewers from Europe, Latin America and Japan can also enjoy the second season.
When Jackie Quiñones discovers a body in Cape Cod Bay, she ends up convinced that she's the only one who can solve the murder. She finds herself in the centre of the horrible heroin epidemic of the Cape. In the second season, Jackie will direct her attention towards the crime wave involving the deadly carfentanyl. Creator Rebecca Cutter (Gotham) will direct the second season, which marks her directorial debut. Next to that, Rachel Morrison (The Hills) has directed two episodes of the second season.
