The filming for the new season of the Marvel series would take place in the New York home base of Silvercup East, where striking WGA members have hit their stakes.
Production of the revival was previously halted at dawn by picketers outside Silvercup East on May 8, when members of Teamster Local 817 and IATSE Locals 829 and 52 refused to cross the line. After that, filming was suspended for the rest of the week.
Daredevil: Born Again, which filmed in and around New York, is now three months into filming for a new 18-episode season for Disney+.
Written and produced by Matt Corman and Chris Ord, who are unable to write on set due to the strike, the new season centers on Charlie Cox's Daredevil, also known as Matt Murdock, a lawyer by day and crimefighter by night. Vince D'Onofrio reprises his role as mob boss Wilson Fisk aka Kingpin.
Other announced leads include Margarita Levieva (The Deuce), Sandrine Holt (House of Cards (2013)), Michael Gandolfini (The Deuce), Arty Froushan (Carnival Row) and Nikki M. James (Severance). Jon Bernthal's Punisher also reprises his role.
