Lucasfilm released the trailer Tuesday to give audiences a glimpse into the upcoming Disney+ series and show Ahsoka Tano must keep the peace in the galaxy by reconnecting with Sabine Wren (Natasha Liu Bordizzo). The couple was previously separated during the animated series Star Wars Rebels.

Although Anakin Skywalker is mentioned, Hayden Christensen does not appear in the trailer. However, he will reprise his role in the series as he is Ahsoka's former master and mentor. But the trailer does show Lars Mikkelsen as Grand Admiral Thrawn.
Set after the fall of the Empire, Ahsoka follows former Jedi Knight Ahsoka Tano as she investigates an emerging threat to a fragile galaxy. The character was co-created by George Lucas and Dave Filoni and made her debut as the Jedi apprentice and apprentice of Anakin Skywalker in the animated television series Star Wars: The Clone Wars and also starred in Star Wars Rebels.
Both animated series are co-created by Filoni. She is of the alien species Togruta, who are known for their large montrals and main tails, and colorful pigments. Dawson made Ahsoka Tano's live-action debut during the second season of Disney+'s The Mandalorian.
In addition to Dawson in the titular role, Ahsoka stars Natasha Liu Bordizzo as Sabine Wren, Mary Elizabeth Winstead as Hera Syndulla, Ray Stevenson as Baylan Skoll, Ivanna Sakhno as Shin Hati, Diana Lee Inosanto as Morgan Elsbeth, David Tennant as Huyang, Lars Mikkelsen as Grand Admiral Thrawn and Eman Esfandi as Ezra Bridger.
The series is written by Dave Filoni, who is co-producing with Jon Favreau, Kathleen Kennedy, Colin Wilson and Carrie Beck. Karen Gilchrist serves as co-executive producer.
