Season two of the anthology series will feature the “Miracle Man” storyline, based on the most recent third season of the Wondery podcast. Paolo Macchiarini (Ramírez, The Undoing) is a charming surgeon, known for his innovative operations that earn him the nickname Miracle Man. When investigative journalist Benita Alexander (Moore, This Is Us) approaches him for a story, the lines between personal and professional begin to blur and her life changes forever.

As she discovers the lengths Paolo will go to protect his secrets, a group of doctors on the other side of the world make shocking discoveries of their own that call everything about the Miracle Man into question.
Luke Kirby (The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel), Ashley Madekwe (Tell Me a Story (2018)) and Gustaf Hammarsten (Morden i Sandhamn) also star.
The accompanying documentary Dr. Death: Cutthroat Conman will be released on the same day as the eight-episode season.
Season two of Dr. Death can be viewed in its entirety from Thursday, December 21.
