Ryan Murphy has dropped a teaser for the second installment of his Feud franchise, Capote vs. The Swans.



Feud: Capote vs. The Swans is based on the bestseller Capote's Women: A True Story of Love, Betrayal, and a Swan Song for an Era by Laurence Leamer and stars Naomi Watts (The Watcher), Diane Lane (House of Cards (2013)), Chloë Sevigny (Bloodline), Calista Flockhart (Supergirl), Molly Ringwald (Dahmer - Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story) and Demi Moore (American Horror Story: Delicate)

The miniseries is set in the 1970s and ends with the death of Truman Capote in 1984. The story of the famous writer (Tom Hollander, The White Lotus) as he takes several of his girlfriends - whom he called his "swans" - into by publishing a short story in Esquire in 1975 with the title La Côte Basque 1965.

His circle of swan friends included Babe Paley (Watts), wife of CBS head Bill Paley, Slim Keith (Lane), Pamela Churchill Harriman, ex-wife of Winston's son and future wife of Slim's husband, Lee Radziwill (Flockhart), sister of Jackie Kennedy, Gloria Guinness and C.Z. Guest (Sevigny).

The series also stars Moore as Ann “Bang-Bang” Woodward, Ringwald as Joanne Carson, Treat Williams (Chesapeake Shores) as Bill Paley, Joe Mantello (Hollywood (2020)) as Jack Dunphy and Russell Tovey (Years and Years) as John O'Shea.

Gus Van Sant directed all eight episodes and Jon Robin Baitz wrote all episodes and served as showrunner.

Baitz, Van Sant and Watts produce Feud: Capote vs. The Swans along with Murphy, Plan B's Dede Gardner, Tim Minear and Alexis Martin Woodall - all of whom produced season one, titled Feud: Bette and Joan. 20th Television is the studio and produces along with Plan B Entertainment and Ryan Murphy Productions.
