Apple TV is kicking off with the first trailer for its new sci-fi series Constellation.

The series stars Noomi Rapace (Tom Clancy's Jack Ryan) as an astronaut who returns to Earth after a disaster in space - only to discover that important pieces of her life appear to be missing. In the trailer, this seems to manifest itself as a series of mysteries - a strange piano, an unknown voice on a tape recorder - along with many disturbing hallucinations.

The rest of the cast includes Jonathan Banks (Breaking Bad), James D'Arcy (Agent Carter), Julian Looman (Emily in Paris), Lenn Kudrjawizki (Vikings), William Catlett (Black Lightning), Barbara Sukowa (Servant) and Carole Weyers (Braqueurs: La série) and the series is directed by creator and writer Peter Harness (Doctor Who).

Constellation will premiere with three episodes on Wednesday, February 21, with a new episode added every Wednesday thereafter.

The series is part of a steady rise of science fiction for Apple TV+, including Foundation (2021), Invasion, Monarch: Legacy of Monsters, Silo, For All Mankind, Hello Tomorrow! and Severance.
