Starring Clarke as US Marshal Frank Remnick, The Last Frontier follows the sole Marshal in charge of the tranquil, rugged wilderness of Alaska. His jurisdiction is turned upside down when a prison plane crashes in the remote wilderness, freeing dozens of violent prisoners.
He must protect the town he has sworn to keep safe, but begins to suspect that the crash was not an accident, but the first step of a well-thought-out plan with international political implications.
Blum (pictured) plays Luke, the son of Frank (Clarke) and Sarah (Simone Kessell). Haley Bennett and Dominic Cooper also star.
The actor was seen series-wise in AppleTV+'s space drama series For All Mankind, alongside Joel Kinnaman. He had a recurring role as Young Bob Lee Swagger in USA Network's Shooter (2016) and played young Hank Hall/Hawk in Titans (2018) for DC Universe.
Apple TV+'s The Last Frontier comes from Jon Bokenkamp and Richard D'Ovidio, known for their work on The Blacklist and The Blacklist: Redemption. The series has been ordered for ten episodes in February 2023.
The series is produced by Apple Studios. Sam Hargrave directs the pilot and serves as executive producer alongside Bokenkamp, D'Ovidio and Clarke.
