Fans of the Mocro Mafia franchise can breathe a sigh of relief: it's not over yet. The popular character Tonnano, played by rapper ICE (Khalid Alterch), is getting a series at Videoland. The streaming service announced this on Monday. The season consists of six thirty-minute episodes. Further information will be announced later.

The last episode of the successful Mocro Mafia appeared on Videoland on Thursday evening. Fans reacted with surprise and some frustration at the unexpected twist in what was supposed to be the last episode ever. This episode had an open ending and also featured a short scene after the credits. It left fans hoping for an encore and now it appears to be happening.
The first episode of Mocro Mafia, which has six seasons, was shown in 2018. The series subsequently received several spin-offs, including Mocro Mafia: Komtgoed and the film Meltem.
Mocro Mafia creator Ashar Medina previously announced that the final episode of Mocro Mafia marked the definitive end. There would also be no more spin-offs, he said. “Yes, the curtain is really falling. We want to stop at the pinnacle, and that moment is now.”
The spin-off series that is now coming will be called Tonnano and will be shown in 2025. In the announcement we see the character Tonnano looking intently at the camera: "Do you think we're ready, ouleh?"
