Eternal love, dark desires, moral dilemmas, power and betrayal are the common thread in the lives of the famous vampires Lestat de Lioncourt and Louis de Pointe du Lac.

Journalist Daniel Molloy tries to unravel the life of the mysterious Louis de Pointe du Lac during a series of intense interviews. Louis reveals how his existence changed forever when he met the charismatic vampire Lestat de Lioncourt in 18th century New Orleans, who gave him a way out of his mortal limitations by also turning him into a vampire.
Louis tells an epic journey through the ages, as he struggles with his new immortality and the eternal battle between his human feelings and his monstrous nature. When they take in the young orphan Claudia and also turn them into a vampire, their world changes drastically. The bond between Louis and his creator Lestat grows into a complex and destructive mix of love, power and betrayal.
The series is based on the popular books by the famous American author Anne Rice. She is praised worldwide for her work in gothic and horror literature, including her masterpiece The Vampire Chronicles, of which Interview with the Vampire was her debut novel. The series remains true to the gothic and emotional core of her work, immersing viewers in a world full of eternal love, dark desires and moral dilemmas.
