Surviving Black Hawk Down comes from Scott’s RSA Films and will tell the real story of the horror and heroism behind the events that inspired his film. It is a mix of raw, compelling storytelling with interviews from both sides of the Battle of Mogadishu.

Black Hawk Down was released in 2001 and won two Oscars. The film, starring Josh Hartnett, Ewan McGregor and Eric Bana, followed the journey of the U.S. special forces into Somalia to destabilize the government and bring food and humanitarian aid to the starving population. The group used Black Hawk helicopters to lower the soldiers to the ground.
Surviving Black Hawk Down is produced by Jamal Osman, Emma Supple. Executive producers are Dominic Crossley-Holland and Tom Pearson. Director is Jack MacInnes.
Netflix's three-part documentary premieres Monday, February 10.
