HBO Max has set a premiere date for Duster, the upcoming drama series from J.J. Abrams and LaToya Morgan.

Duster follows Nina (Rachel Hilson), the first black female FBI agent, as she heads to the Southwest in 1972 and recruits a fearless getaway driver (Josh Holloway), the first in a daring attempt to take down a growing crime syndicate.

The project reunites Abrams with Lost actor Holloway (pictured), who stars alongside Hilson, Keith David, Sydney Elisabeth, Greg Grunberg, Camille Guaty, Asivak Koostachin, Adriana Aluna Martinez, and Benjamin Charles Watson.

The trailer opens with the introduction of Hilson and Holloway’s characters. “I was warned not to seek you out, that you’re nothing but a loyal driver,” Hilson’s Nina tells Holloway. A moment later, we see where this is going when David’s character asks Holloway, “What do you think about violence?”, leading to a montage of fight scenes.

Duster debuts on HBO Max on Thursday, May 15. The eight-episode season will see new episodes released weekly until the finale on July 3.
