CBS and NCIS: Los Angeles actor LL Cool J revealed that the actor will reprise his role as Sam Hanna in the April 21 episode. NCIS actor Brian Dietzen previously shared that "someone from NCIS's past" will be returning and that 'someone' is LL Cool J.
"Back on set, baby! NCIS. Let's get it," LL Cool J announced in an Instagram video.
LL Cool J played Sam Hanna in all fourteen seasons of NCIS: Los Angeles, which ended in May 2023. He reprised the character in the third season of NCIS: Hawaii until the end of the season, which turned out to be the series finale.
Season 22 of NCIS continued on CBS last Thursday. It has already been renewed for season 23, along with other NCIS series NCIS: Origins and NCIS: Sydney.
