Netflix has released a trailer for Sirens (2025), and if the streamer was going for “mildly disturbing,” it hit the mark.

The miniseries from Maid creator Molly Smith Metzler stars Meghann Fahy (The White Lotus) as a woman who sets out to find her younger sister (Milly Alcock, House of the Dragon) — and finds herself entangled in the strange world of a wealthy family.

The Netflix description reads: "Devon (Fahy) suspects her sister Simone (Alcock) is having a very creepy relationship with her new boss, the enigmatic socialite Michaela Kell (Julianne Moore). Michaela's cult-like life of luxury is like a drug to Simone, and Devon decides it's time for an intervention, but she has no idea what a formidable opponent Michaela will be."

Sirens (2025) also stars Kevin Bacon, Glenn Howerton, Bill Camp and Felix Solis. The series is based on Metzler's play Elemeno Pea, which she wrote while at Juilliard. It's the first product of an overall deal Metzler signed with Netflix following the success of Maid.

Metzler is the showrunner and executive producer through her Quiet Coyote banner. Other executive producers include Dani Gorin, Tom Ackerley and Margot Robbie for LuckyChap, Colin McKenna and Nicole Kassell, who directed the first two episodes.

Sirens (2025) is available to stream on Netflix starting Thursday, May 22. Watch the trailer below.
