Ryan Murphy will retain his Thursday 8-10 p.m. time slot on ABC next season with the first 9-1-1 franchise block in three and a half years. 9-1-1: Nashville will take over Murphy's Doctor Odyssey in the 9 p.m. time slot. While the series is off the schedule, the cruise ship medical drama has not officially been canceled and creative talks with Murphy about its future continue.
