Prime Video gives a first look at the prequel series The Terminal List: Dark Wolf, starring Taylor Kitsch and Chris Pratt.

The Terminal List: Dark Wolf is a prequel to The Terminal List, which saw Chris Pratt as James Reece on a mission of revenge after a plot against his Navy SEAL team. The new series centers on Ben Edwards (Taylor Kitsch), Reece’s friend and former Navy SEAL, as he navigates his transition from SEAL to CIA Special Operations agent as he navigates the ethical grey areas of asymmetric warfare. Prime Video has now shared the first official photos and confirmed a premiere date.

According to Prime Video, the series will explore not only military operations, but also the personal toll that this lifestyle takes. Authenticity is key: the production uses military veterans as actors, writers and advisors, which should ensure a realistic and respectful portrayal of the work and brotherhood of Special Operations.

In addition to Kitsch and Pratt, the cast includes a range of international and action-oriented names: Tom Hopper, Robert Wisdom, Luke Hemsworth, Dar Salim, Rona-Lee Shim'on, Michael Ealy, Shiraz Tzarfati and Jared Shaw.

The Terminal List: Dark Wolf will be available to stream on Wednesday, August 27. The series will begin with the first three episodes, followed by new episodes weekly, until the season finale on Wednesday, September 24.
