Silverstone (pictured) plays Fiona Sharpe, a woman who has lost faith in no one since receiving a cryptic message from her father, Declan (played by Jason O'Mara). The message sets her on a path of revelations about her father's dark past. For years, Fiona has channeled her anger toward him to the advantage of her demanding clients in Los Angeles — never addressing her own father issues.

But once she arrives in Ireland, Fiona discovers that the story of how she and her mother were abandoned on her tenth birthday was actually a protective lie. In the trailer, she's told, "He was up to his eyeballs in debt to dangerous men."

Working with a local police officer, Fiona follows leads that point to possible foul play. Ultimately, she decides to reconnect with her father—a man she thought she knew but who kept much more from her.

Alicia Silverstone not only stars, but also serves as executive producer on the crime series, premiering Monday, August 11 on Acorn TV in the U.S. and Canada. Watch the trailer below.
