Apple TV has postponed the premiere of the French-language thriller series The Hunt.

The Hunt (released in France as Traqués) was originally set to debut on Wednesday, December 3, but the release has been removed from the calendar without a new date. All information about the series, including the trailer released two weeks ago, has been completely removed from both the Apple website and the Apple TV app.

Unlike the recent delay of the Jessica Chastain thriller The Savant, the decision regarding The Hunt does not appear to be related to international events or sensitivities, but rather due to internal scheduling reasons at Apple.

The Hunt is created and directed by Cédric Anger. The story follows Franck (Benoît Magimel), who goes hunting with his regular group of friends every weekend. During one weekend, they encounter an unknown group that begins attacking them without clear reason.

One of the friends is injured by a shot, but the group manages to defend themselves and escape. However, when Franck returns to his daily life with his wife Krystel (Mélanie Laurent), he gets the unsettling feeling that he is being followed or hunted by the same aggressive hunters, now determined to take revenge.

The cast also includes Damien Bonnard, Manuel Guillot, Cédric Appietto, Angelyna Danabe-Mignot, Paul Beaurepaire, Yann Goven, Sarah Pachoud, and Patrick De Vallette.
