The series is set in a world where witchcraft truly exists. AMC+ released the trailer and first images of the new season, giving a sneak peek of what's to come.

The six-part season, based on the novel by V.V. James, once again follows four women, a dark secret, and a murder investigation that shakes the idyllic English town of Sanctuary to its core.

The story picks up a year after the witch hunt: Sarah (Elaine Cassidy) and her daughter Harper (Hazel Doupe) are hiding in Scotland as new anti-witch laws lead to hate crimes. When Sarah returns to Sanctuary, she faces a new murder and escalating tensions that force her into a dangerous struggle to protect her daughter and her magic.

Sanctuary: A Witch's Tale season two will be available on AMC+ starting Thursday, December 25. Check out the key art and trailer below.
