The first season of Haantjes was a huge success and topped the Netflix Top 10 for weeks in both the Netherlands and Belgium. In this second season, the four main characters Mike, Danny, Ivo, and Greg return, with their development taking center stage.
After a course from their coach Bram, the friends have transformed into so-called 'new men', meaning they are softer, more emotional, and more aware of traditional male-female roles; however, it quickly becomes clear that their environment is not yet ready for this change, leading to necessary tensions and humor.
In addition to Waldemar Torenstra, Jeroen Spitzenberger, Andre Dongelmans, and Benja Bruijning, the cast is expanded with a number of new names, including Tanja Jess, Freek Bartels, Bas Hoeflaak, Bo Maerten, Kendrick Etmon, Sarah Chronis, Peter Blok, and Claire Bender, promising to give the new season extra dynamics and storylines.
The second season of Haantjes will be available on Netflix starting Wednesday, May 13.
