Fans of the Yellowstone universe can prepare for a new chapter: starting May 22, the new Original series Dutton Ranch will premiere exclusively on SkyShowtime. Fan favorites Kelly Reilly and Cole Hauser return as the indomitable duo Beth Dutton and Rip Wheeler, but this time their story takes place in the rugged Texas. The first two episodes will be available immediately from the premiere date, followed by a new episode each week.
The first season consists of nine episodes and follows Beth and Rip as they try to build a new life together in the Lone Star State. Far from the past of Yellowstone, they face a harsh reality where a ruthless rival ranch does everything it can to protect its power and empire. In South Texas, family ties prove sacred, forgiveness is scarce, and the struggle for survival can demand a high price.
In addition to Reilly and Hauser, the cast includes Ed Harris and Annette Bening, along with Finn Little, Juan Pablo Raba, Jai Courtney, J.R. Villarreal, Marc Menchaca, and Natalie Alyn Lind.
Dutton Ranch is produced by Paramount Television Studios and 101 Studios. The series is created by showrunner Chad Feehan and based on the characters conceived by executive producers Taylor Sheridan and John Linson. Kelly Reilly and Cole Hauser are also involved as executive producers. Director Christina Voros took charge of several episodes, including the opening episodes and the season finale, alongside Greg Yaitanes, Jessica Lowrey, and Phil Abraham.
