The end of Grey's Anatomy is near

Ellen Pompeo has shared her thoughts about the potential ending of the long-running CBS series. No confirmation regarding an official ending was given. Back in 2005, Grey's Anatomy premiered. Since then, seventeen seasons have been released. It appears now that life in the Grey and Sloan Memorial Hospital could end soon. Ellen Pompeo (Station 19) portrays the lead character in the series and talked to the American CBS News about the potential ending of the long-running ABC series.

Pompeo in the interview: “We honestly have not decided". The creators are trying to figure out which story they still want to tell and how they could properly conclude the series. It is not yet known when that ending is going to happen. Pompeo then added: “I just want to make sure we do this character and this show and the fans — I want to make sure we do it right.”. No matter if the series is going to end now or after one or two more seasons, it is already the longest-running medical drama series on American television.
