Grey's Anatomy Casts Piper Perabo in Recurring Role

Piper Perabo is set to have a recurring role on Grey's Anatomy season 21. Perabo will appear in a multi-episode story arc playing Jenna Gatlin, a fierce mother to nine-year-old Dylan. Jenna will do anything for her child, who is slated for a risky surgery at Grey Sloan.



Perabo (pictured) will make her first appearance in the Thursday, May 1 episode titled Papa Was A Rollin' Stone. As the story goes, Amelia undergoes risky brain surgery on a young patient, while Winston and Jules clash over how to deal with their trauma patient's family. Jo and Link struggle to plan their wedding.

Perabo will also appear in the May 8 and May 15 episodes. The May 8 episode features Jo and Link's wedding day, along with a few visitors. Meanwhile, Teddy and Owen encounter a familiar face seeking treatment, and Lucas clashes with Simone over how to handle a patient's deteriorating condition. In the May 15 episode titled How Do I Live, an ordinary day at Grey Sloan takes an unexpected turn when a medical emergency occurs in the operating room, putting lives at risk in the hospital.

Perabo's recent television roles include the role of Summer Higgins in Yellowstone (2018), as well as Showtime's Billions and Fox's The Big Leap. She had a recurring role in Penny Dreadful: City of Angels, opposite Natalie Dormer and Rory Kinnear, and has also appeared in Netflix's Turn Up Charlie. Her breakout role was in the 2000 dramedy Coyote Ugly.
