Grey's Anatomy, the long-running series from ABC will have three more main cast members.
On the 4th of August, MySeries was able to report that two actors from the popular hospital series would be promoted to the main cast.
Now, we can report that there's going to be three more characters who will stay at the Grey and Sloan Memorial Hospital - formerly known as the Seattle Grace Hospital) in Seattle, Washington for a couple more years. Kim Raver, Camilla Luddington and Kevin McKidd (from left to right, photo) have signed a multiple-year contract with the Alphabet network. Their contracts were supposed to end at the end of the last season and all three of them have signed for more seasons. This also means that there's a high chance that the upcoming seventeenth season isn't going to be the last.

Karey Burke, president of ABC Entertainment, revealed the following; “We are in conversations now with the producers” about the upcoming 17th season and beyond, ABC Entertainment president Karey Burke told Deadline last month. “I’m hopeful that Grey’s Anatomy stays a part of our schedule. They certainly know that we’d like it to be part of our schedule for as long as they are interested in making more episodes.” At an earlier point, Burke revealed that Grey's Anatomy would go on for as long as Ellen Pompeo would be willing to portray Meredith Grey.
It has not yet been revealed when the seventeenth season is scheduled to begin its run at ABC.
